Foresight, a leadership series from Quinton Coastal

You have nowhere honest to take the hardest part of your job.

A small, confidential leadership room, and a decision you’ll act on every time you leave.

  • Sessions Six mornings
  • Length Three months
  • Group 6 to 10 leaders
  • Confidentiality Nothing leaves

So it stays in your head, where it circles.

Not your boss. Not your team. Not peers inside the building. No mirror, no feedback loop, no place to think out loud.

  • The conversation you’ve been avoiding since March.
  • The decision that keeps getting reopened.
  • The work you keep doing because explaining it takes longer.

Nobody trains leaders on judgment. And judgment is the entire job. It’s built by making a call, saying it out loud to people who will push back, and being held to what you said you’d do.

You can’t practise honest leadership inside the organization you’re trying to lead honestly.

Is this you?

Three different starting points. The same gap.

Everything routes through you

  • You’re the default escalation point
  • Feedback gets softened until the message disappears

Your team can’t function without you, and you’re starting to realize that isn’t a compliment.

You replay it for days

  • Clear direction gets softened into a question
  • “That call was wrong” starts to sound like “I was wrong”

You know how to do the job. You just can’t put down the conversation about it.

Leadership is next

  • You’re about to lead people you eat lunch with
  • You want to be honest without damaging relationships

Not becoming the manager everyone complains about isn’t a personality trait. It’s a skill set.

A room, not a course

Bring a real situation. Work it through with peers. Leave with a commitment, and report back next time.

Not a course

You’ve read the books. That’s not a discipline failure, it’s a format failure.

Not coaching

A coach works on you. This works on you in front of peers.

Not therapy

Different work, different room. This is leadership practice.

The details

Schedule
Six mornings, 9 to 11 am, every other week over three months
Format
In person, [location]
Group
6 to 10 leaders, individually vetted
Confidentiality
Closed room. Nothing leaves. No two people from the same reporting line.

Your investment

$2,200

Per participant, for twelve facilitated hours

About $180 an hour, against $250 to $400 for 1:1 coaching. Less than one badly handled conversation will cost you.

Who’s in the room with you

R

Rachel, facilitator

The keeper of the room. She holds the structure and challenges with compassion, so a group of strangers can go somewhere real in week one.

V

Victoria, co-lead

The lived-experience voice. She has sat in the chair, which makes it easier for everyone else to say the true version out loud.

Questions

Am I senior enough for this room?

That’s what the conversation before you join is for. If you’re in, you fit.

How much will I have to share?

You control what you bring. Facilitation means you’re never left hanging.

What if someone knows my boss or my industry?

We vet for that specifically, and every member signs the confidentiality charter.

Apply for a seat

Every seat comes through a conversation. Answer a few short questions and we’ll be in touch to confirm fit.

The room you can’t find anywhere else, and something changes because of it.
